We stopped for lunch today in a town just outside Warrnambool named Koroit.
It is amazing how good we’re getting at making tasty lunches. Today’s was Turkish bread rolls from Aldi, sliced open and filled with ham, cheese, capsicum (and avocado for Harry and me) then heated on a public BBQ until toasty warm. Just marvellous, especially when Trevor brought me over a hot cup of tea afterward. (Anyone reading from WA please note that it is chilly over here already!!!).
Koroit has a huge park full of mature trees with an awesome playground alongside. Lots of people were walking their dogs and we saw lots of kids there.
On our drive out we came across this Scout Hall that was on a massive block, complete with 7’ high bonfire ready to light. I love our Carey Park Hall but look at this one!!
There were lots of storage sheds out the back too and it was fenced without it feeling like a prison. How about that!!
