Yesterday we arrived in Buderim, the home of Uncle Tim - my Mum's youngest brother - and his girls. There are a lot of girls here - even Lucky the dog is female!! Buderim is just beautiful - so lush, green and full of interesting houses and shops.
We've spent most of last night and today yacking and catching up on lots. We last saw this family at Christmas 2009, and even though we share Facebook it is really great to chat in person.
This afternoon we all went to see Lotte who is on student exchange from Holland playing her first Australian game of hockey.
Trevor and I left the very happy boys here and we went out for dinner tonight. It has been just so long since we've done this - we usually have something special on with other people whenever we have someone else looking after the kids. We went to a fabulous Indian restaurant in Buderim - so authentic and so delicious... and then drove out to Mooloolaba for peppermint tea and hot chocolate. The beachfront at Mooloolaba is gorgeous with waves crashing into the shore and a footpath close to the water.
No photos but I wanted to share this beautiful night!!
