to Kojonup we go

Today we left Balingup after lunch and travelled to Boyup Brook. Along the way  Trevor reminisced about long bike rides to the ‘Balingup Golf Course’ and his old school bus route. We stopped in Kojonup at ‘The Kodja Place’ where Max and Harry were stunned at really being allowed to touch bits of old machinery and radios. “Can I really touch this??”
We took lots of photos where the kids were able to manipulate real things.

We’ve stopped at a transit park at Broomehill tonight  -a great spot that has bike paths and a nearby skate park where Max and Harry can ride their hearts out. After a tea of nachos and a crash course in washing and drying up they are both now sound asleep.

“School” starts tomorrow so the boys can have a taste of what’s to come over the next six months…
I’ve made contact with James Ramsell, an old Roleystone school friend who now lives in Esperance with his wife Jo and two kids. We’ll be staying with them on Wednesday night – it will be great to see him again.

Hello travellers ... your stop at Broomehill sounds ideal .. place for boys to let off steam after sitting for a while ... say Hello to James and family ... it will be great for you to catch up with people you know. Dad and I stopped at Kodja Place when we went to Albany a couple of years ago in May.
Enjoying your photos and story line
