We’ve spent the past few days just relaxing, with only a few visits out.
We have:
- sat up until almost dawn with a fire, red wine, good music and good company.
- watched Aidan play soccer
- gone to Lauren’s Preschool Fete
- been to Questacon (Liz, Max and Harry)
- had another fire and a delicious homemade Pad Thai and lots of red wine with Justine, David, Kerryn, Pete, Catherine and Matt (and all the kidlets tended to look after themselves, enjoying the fire and the Cheezels)
- had a short visit to Parliament House where Max and I found one of four remaining copies of the 1215 ‘Magna Carta’, sat in both Houses of Parliament and went on the roof.
- found a new old bike for Harry at the local tip. He can now ride around on a bike with good brakes and straight wheels after his bike had an argument with one of the jerrycans when we were reversing around a corner (Trevor and boys)
- had lots of conversations with old friends Justine, David and Aidan. We have talked lots with the exuberant four year old Lauren.
- gone on a few bike rides with the kids (mainly Trevor)
- been for a swim after Lauren and Aidan's swimming lessons in the really warm pool. We discovered Harry can now do a forwards and backwards roll in the pool and can jump in doing in forward roll. Wow!!
