Aaaahhhh…. we’re in Canberra ….

We arrived at the home of Justine, David, Aidan and Lauren Bruce this afternoon, and it is just wonderful. It is so good to be with old friends where we know each other inside – out, and can just pick up where we left off.

After three nights free camping without power, it has been heavenly being warm with lots of room and with other people for all four of us to talk to. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we experienced the Snowies, but I’m also glad to have left. If/when I go back again, it will be in a bigger van with built in generator to keep me warm. Everything else was wonderful!

Max and Aidan have easily slipped back into their friendship which is beautiful to see. Aidan, Max and Trevor are sleeping in the van tonight while Harry and I get the snuggly spare room. Tomorrow we’re off to watch Aidan play soccer and on Sunday to Lauren’s Preschool Fete. We keep booking times with each other to make sure that Justine and I get time to spend together going out for coffee (where we always order tea….), while Trevor and David get to go out for a beer and watch the Eagles together.

Brilliant!!
